The 2019 TCCHS Yearbook will arrive Monday, May 13.  If you have not purchased a yearbook, Friday will be the last day to purchase one for $73.00.  All pre sales will end Friday, May 10th. There will be a few extra books to purchase Monday the 13th; however, the final price will be $75.00. All, partial paid yearbooks must be paid in full to receive your book on Monday. Make all checks payable to TCCHS. Do not miss this opportunity to capture the memories of the school year. 
 
TCCHS SBDM Council Meeting
The April meeting of the TCCHS SBDM council will be Thursday May 23rd, 2019 at 4:30 pm in the TCCHS library.
Babysitting Classes being offered at Library!
When: Thursday's in April & May. Starting April 11th 2019.  4 p.m. to 5 p.m. 
Where: Todd Co. Public Library 302. E Main St. Elkton Ky  *For Middle & High School Age Students* 
 Babysitting this summer? Come and learn the safe & fun things to do with children. Each Thursday will cover a different topic.  Call (270) 265-9071 for more information. 
 
Attention Juniors,
American Legion Auxiliary Kentucky Girls State program is available to 11th grade female students. This program is a six day event on the campus of Georgetown College provides students with the opportunity to learn about government via the first-hand experience of establishing a mock government. It is our mission at TCCHS that we provide a student centered environment that promotes post-secondary success. 

SCHOOL START/DISMISSAL TIME:
Students will not be permitted to enter the school until 7:40. Students are to report to the cafeteria or gym upon entering the school building. TCCHS start time is 8:00 school dismissal time is 3:00 for all bus riders and 3:05 for car riders, student drivers, and student walkers. Parents are asked to observe the parking/NO PARKING signs and not park in the bus lane at dismissal time. Parent pick up and drop off is on the South side of the building, closest to the football field. In order to ensure a safe and orderly dismissal, please use the parent pick up line and continue to wait for your student, outside the school and in your car at dismissal time. Unless riding the bus, students are not to be dropped off or picked up in any other area. Parent Pick-up and car riders / walkers will exit the building after buses are dismissed.
 
Attendance Notes from Mrs. Lanier
Students are allotted five parent notes for whole day/half day absences and five parent notes for tardies. Upon return to school from an absence, the student has three days to turn in a note to the front office for it to be excused. Proper documentation is required for funerals, drivers license, and doctor appointments. Drivers permit and License tests are only considered a half day absent. Guidance Department News
Juniors and Seniors who qualify for Free and Reduced Lunch are eligible for 2 FREE ACT tests. Please see the schedule below to plan when you'll take the ACT. A FREE State Junior ACT will be in March 2019. If you have any further questions, please contact Tiffany Wood in the Guidance Department.

Cell Phone - Student Changes for use
TCCHS students may use cellphones ONLY before or after school hours.  This is a change from the previous policy in place for the 2018-2019 school year EFFECTIVE 3/19/2019.  TCCHS students are to follow the district policy regarding cellphones.
Students using cellphones during the school day will be subject to disciplinary action as follows:
1st offense - 1 day detention
2nd offense - 3 days detention
3rd offense - 1 day ISAP
Over 3 offenses - Discipline is at the discretion of the administration

AM/PM Detention
Detention is able to be served Monday through Thursdays.  When assigned a detention, students have up to 5 school days to serve, either from 7:10-7:40 am in Mr. Fleming's classroom, or from 3:05-3:35 pm in Mr. Fleming's classroom. Detentions that are not served with the 5 day allotment will results in an assigned day in ISAP. Thank you for your help.
