Todd County Central High School FFA had another successful year of fruit sales. This year FFA students raised over $6,000 dollars from fruit sales.
Money raised from the fruit sales go directly back to benefit our students. Classroom materials for animal science labs and plant science labs are purchased, as well as supplemental materials for the agricultural shop such as lumber, welding rods, and tools are purchased. Labs and shop materials provide students hands on learning experiences. Through the support of the community FFA is able to provide premier leadership opportunities to our students through participation in regional, state and national leadership events with the funds raised from selling fruit.
TCCHS FFA was also able to provide fresh fruit to the Family Resource Youth Service Center (FRYSC) for the backpack program to provide students with healthy food over the break.
