Dipasquale selected as a Grammy Music Educator Semifinalist

Heather Dipasquale, Todd County Middle School Band Director and Assistant High School Band Director for Todd County Central High School was recently selected as a quarterfinalist for the prestigious Music Educator Award presented by the Recording Academy and the Grammy Museum for a fourth year. There were 207 Quarterfinalists announced for the 2023 Music Educator Award.

The annual Music Educator Award was established to recognize current educators, from kindergarten through college, who have made a significant and lasting contribution to the field of music education and who demonstrate a commitment to the broader cause of maintaining music education in the schools.

After intensive review of thousands of nationwide educators, Mrs. Dipasquale was notified that she was selected as one of the remaining 207 music teachers named as quarterfinalists for 2023. Semifinalists will be determined this fall, announced in September.

"It is a great honor to be recognized alongside so many other great music educators from across the country. It isn’t a testimony of my work, but the work of my students that I am privileged to serve every day. They are my greatest teachers and I wouldn't be the teacher I am today without them," said Heather Dipasquale.
