Nick Suttle has been hired as the new head coach of the Lady Rebels Basketball program. Coach Suttle is a native of Drakesboro, Kentucky and has lived in Bowling Green the past 15 years with his wife Jilann and their daughters Aliah (10) and Zara (3).
Coach Suttle has over 15 years of coaching experience for both girls and boys basketball programs from middle school to college. For the past two years, Coach Suttle has been assisting Hall-of-Fame Coach Mike Harper with the Muhlenberg County High School Lady Mustangs. He was the Head Coach for the Chandlers Boys’ Middle School program for three years and lead them to their first ever undefeated season and District Championship.
He also worked under Hall-of-Fame coach Tony Hopper when he coached the South Warren Spartans, and worked with the WKU Hilltoppers’ Men’s Basketball program as a student, under Hall-of-Fame Coach Ray Harper.
Coach Suttle focuses on fundamental basketball with an aggressive defensive mindset. He enjoys studying the game of basketball and will bring a wide variety of experience to the Lady Rebel program.
