For Immediate Release:

May 12, 2021

Elkton, Kentucky - The National Beta Club at Todd County Central High School has proudly been named a 2021 National Beta All Star Service award winner. The club earned this award by spending an average of 50-75 hours per member serving their school, community, and state this year.

As one of the four pillars of National Beta, service is encouraged to help students learn to demonstrate the motto: Let Us Lead by Serving Others. By showing dedication to service, Todd County Central Betas helped contribute to over 472,037 hours served by clubs across the nation this year. Collectively, Betas also raised $420,271 for various organizations and charities.  The club at Todd County Central joins a group of only 39 other schools to earn the award this year.

Thanks to the commitment to the National Beta motto, Let Us Lead by Serving Others, the TCCHS Beta Club achieved 2021 ALL STAR Service status. This means that each of the TCCHS Beta members knocked service out of the park by spending 50-75 hours serving their school, community, and state.

The National Beta Club at TCCHS served a total of 6,553 hours this year with each member serving an average of 60.119 hours. Members will each receive a commemorative pin and the club will receive a plaque to proudly display in their school.
