Honors English III and English III

Course Description

  • In Honors English III we will read the traditional genres of literature—novels, short stories, poems, essays. At the same time, we will study a variety of ways of writing and explore methods of argument and citation. This course is designed to broaden your literary knowledge, deepen your thinking about important topics, develop your communication skills, and give you multiple opportunities to work with a variety of people on different tasks. It will also prepare you for the senior level honors course, A.P. Literature and Composition.
