Child Developmental Services 1 & 2 (Period 2-3)

This course provides training for entry-level positions in day care centers, nurseries, kindergartens, and private homes. Students study careers in child development, child development and guidance, children’s health and well-being in group care, value of play, teaching strategies and management, and curriculum development. The subject content is reinforced with work experience in a variety of childcare establishments.
