Henry R. “Hank” Bell Jr., M.D.

Dr. Bell graduated from Elkton High School as the Outstanding Student of his 1958 class. He graduated from Western Kentucky State College and earned the Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Kentucky in 1966. A decorated hero of the Vietnam War, U.S. Army Capt. Bell was awarded two Bronze Stars, one with Oak Leaf Cluster, and the Vietnamese Medal of Honor. Back home as a physician, he cared for generations of his neighbors and distinguished himself in the medical profession and in tireless service to his community.
